We have a late fee of $10 if you pay your rent after the 5th of the month. Since we have a late fee, we decided you should have the option of getting a discount if you paid your rent before the 5th of the month! We call it our "Good Financier Special" and it is $5 off if the rent is paid before the 5th.
That's how the "Goodness Specials" started, and we have since developed other specials with the intent of attracting good neighbors. You won't believe the other opportunities to save that become available to you, just for paying your rent early!! Here's how it works:
If you are paying your rent BEFORE the 5th of the month, you are entitled to GOODNESS SPECIALS!
If you are paying AFTER the 5th of the month, and are only paying late rent, there is a $10.00 late fee and the GOODNESS SPECIALS ARE NOT AVAILABLE TO YOU.
However, if you're paying after the 5th of the month, and you are paying more than one month's rent, and at least one month is being paid early, you are still entitled to the GOODNESS SPECIALS!
You save $5.00 right away just for paying before the 5th with the "Good Financier" Special. Now you just need to figure out how many additional specials you may qualify for.
Good Citizen Special: If you are a registered voter, you get $5.00 off of your rent a month.
Good Student Special: If you have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, you get $5.00 off of your rent a month.
Good Neighbor Special: If you attended the last Neighborhood Association Meeting, you get $5.00 off of your rent that month.
Good Patriot Special: If you served and were honorably discharged, or are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States, you get $5.00 off of your rent a month.
Good Friend Special: If you refer someone to Lake Lodge Apartments and they move in, you get $5.00 off of your rent every single month for every single person that you refer.
You're probably wondering if you read that "Good Friend" special right, so let us explain. For example, if you refer 3 people and they move in, you get $15.00 off of your rent every month:
